Some of these foods are more popular and cooked in all parts of Iran and some others are strangers remain outside the scope of their homeland.

When traveling to another city, you can enjoy the pleasures of your trip by trying local and traditional cuisine of this area and experience new flavors. We want to introduce you to some traditional Iranian foods.

Traditional Iranian foods from Gilan province

The beautiful and green area of Gilan is a rich area in terms of the diversity of local cuisine and is considered one of the great destinations for tourism. Mirzakasemi is one of the famous Gilan foods and is known by almost all Iranian people. This food was invented by Mohammad Qasem Khan, who was at the time of Nasir al-Din Shah, the ruler of Guilan. Mirzacasemi is made from eggplant, garlic, tomatoes and eggs, which can be eaten both as a meal and as a main meal with bread or rice.
